Sony Mavica lenses

Post by precertvideo »

Further to my Canon SV lens adapter I have finally made an adapter to use Sony Mavica lenses on a modern Sony NEX. Of course no aperture control.

I calculate a sensor to flange register distance of 57mm, certainly the longest to smallest-sensor ratio? Designing the wide 5mm & 6.5mm lenses can't have been easy with such long back focus, no wonder they are physically so long for such "wide-angle" lenses, made & no doubt designed by Canon. Unfortunately I only have the two lenses below out of the six offered.
