Cosmetic repairs
I have recently bought several different old dslr Nikon camera's recently including a Kodak dcs 620 based on the F5, some of these were a little careworn and previously having used Humbrol enamel to touch up the paint, which I find to shiny this time I have used Tamia acrylic flat black with better results, You have to look very closely to see it on the camera, but it smartens up a tatty looking body, you can get these paints from model shops along with a fine brush to apply it. I would not do this to a camera with history such as one used by a war journalist or one used by NASA, but for the rest it improves the look.
