Hi, this is my first post in this forum.
I have been collecting cameras for about 15 years and I have a lot of early digital SLR cameras.
Recently I started a blog about my collection. It's still in the beginning.
The first post was about the Minolta RD-175.
If someone is interested in getting the software and drivers for this camera please check
http://thecameracollectors.blogspot.com/
Please bear in mind that English is not my “mother tongue”...
I've managed a way of cloning the CF or PCMCIA cards for the RD-175.
I the next week I will post an ISO image of a card and the software to clone it, so that you may use these cameras without the SCSI Cards and cables.
Cheers,
Reede

Re: Minolta RD-175
Hello and welcome!
Congratulations! Creating working memory cards for the RD-175 is no trivial task. I've tried this myself, using several different programs, but could never find a working solution. Please share. Looking forward to follow your blog!
Best regards,
Jarle

Thank you. I've downloaded your card image (58 MB .pbd file) and successfully restored the disk image to an old 512 MB CF card. Works perfectly!
I've changed the subject title of this thread and added a link to your page in my own ActionCam article. Great news!

I am planning to get an RD 175. I stumbled across this site in my search for the encessary software. I found that the files needed to clone the Rd 175 card are no longer on line. Can someone please help me on this?

Re: Minolta RD-175 (how to clone memory cards)
HI,
Ok, I got my RD 175. I downloaded the image, and followed proceedure to clone to CF card. I put it in the camera and take photos. Great! I take CF card, put in card reader, download photos to PC. Wonderful! I put card back in camera and get error message. Then I have to re-format and clone again.....
Any suggestions?

Ok, now I think I get it. I need to think of memory as digital film, not a memory card. It must be processed before it can be reused.
