I guess calling it "The Most Significant Nikon Ever" is exaggerating a little, but there's no doubt many collectors would like to get their hands on this one. But $69,000? I don't think so (but I've been wrong before). Will be an interesting auction to follow. 5 days left.

Yes, the F4 is now sold. Just for the record, I now realize that it was a regular F4 film body, NOT the custom made ESC body mentioned in the NikonWeb article.
The first body has been relisted (new item no. 230412108267) and then there's a second NASA F3 from the same seller: item 300377513047. At $55,000 it's a little cheaper than the first one.
