Hello everyone!
I'm using my DCS 760 for documentary photography and getting GPS-cordinates to EXIF-information would be very useful. I have a Garmin Etrex with serial cable so I'll need something between Kodaks 'test'-terminal and RS-232c. Does someone now if there is a commercial solution or do I have to solder one myself and has someone actually used DCS/Nikon D1-series GPS capability?

Have you seen this info on Kodak's website? How to Connect a GPS Unit
'You can use a DCS Serial Connectivity Kit (Catalog No. 8328098). The Connectivity Kit contains serial cables and adapters. The kit is used with the Kodak Professional DCS 720x and DCS 760 Digital Camera series. Because the serial port size on the DCS 700 Digital Camera series is different than the serial port size on the DCS Pro 14n and DCS Pro SLR/n Digital Cameras, you must use an adapter. RadioShack Corporation offers an Audio Adapter (Part No. 274-397) which accepts a 3/32-inch (sub mini) stereo plug and fits a 1/8-inch stereo jack (mini). The Audio Adapter allows you to plug a serial cable into the camera.'
Unfortunately, according to the above article, the kit is no longer available from Kodak.

It works! I used serial cable from my old Canon Pro70 and drove to my local Biltema (for people living outside Scandinavia, a store that sells cheap stuff) and bought a DB9 gender changer (2.5 euros). I hooked all up and it just worked!
I went outside and took few pics. This is view of my neighbourhood.
And EXIF-data:

I found also a quite useful service that shows location where the photo is taken by using the GPS-information found from EXIF-data. For example you can see where I live by watching this link. There are also several similar services and programs available on the net.
