I created a Flickr folder for some shots out of the DCS200ir. These are done with my own RAW to .BMP converter, which picks up some dynamic range and a few more pixels (1536x1024) over the Kodak TWAIN drivers. Photoshop used to convert the BMP's into JPG's, nothing more. The Flickr upload software shrimks the pictures down.

The shot with the "Sprockets" shows the extra rows as stored in the camera. Usually I start converting the image after the sprockets. Bet you did not know that Digital Cameras use Sprockets to get the electrons out!

Had the DCS200ir out a bit, and also uploaded some of the pictures taken relatively recently.

Hi,
Of course there are sprockets! You need those to drive the chains that the bit-buckets in the bucket-brigade are attached to!
The old girl still takes some pretty nice images.
later!

Wow, those are really good - much smoother than I was expecting. I remember seeing some other samples taken with one of the IR cameras in an earlier thread, and they looked very grainy. Does the camera meter accurately, or did you have to guess?
