Nikon E2 browser download
The E2 browser can now be downloaded right here:
http://www.nikonweb.com/files/e2browser.zip (637 KB zip file)
Please download while you can. The file may be removed without notice.
I had problems running the browser on a Windows XP system (not really a big surprise). Tried to run it in Win 95 compatibility mode - no success. I had a lot of other programs running, and should perhaps have tried to restart the computer, etc. but didn't bother. I didn't plan to use it anyway.

E2 browser
I'm not sure why anyone would want to use this old piece of software.
You can open the E-series TIFF files using Nikon View and Nikon Capture, or third party programs like RAW PhotoDesk (www.rawphotodesk.com).

Why would anyone want to use a nikon E2 or DS-515 ? this is an old piece of hardware.
you can take digital pictures with a nikon D200 or even a nikon D2x, or a third party camera like a Kodak DCS 760.

Re: E2 browser
I don't really use these things. Just for fun, once in a while. But the old software? No, thanks. I'm not *that* crazyavinoam123 wrote:Why would anyone want to use a nikon E2 or DS-515 ? this is an old piece of hardware.
My real camera is a D2X.
