Sold for $1026 to Germany - 18 bids.

Only half the price of the first ESC sold ($2046), but still one of the most expensive ones.

Last ESC on eBay

Post by NikonWeb »

Last one. Number 11. eBay item 200167472834

Personally, I've lost interest in this camera. Kiu, feel free to get it :-)

UPDATE - NOV 7, 2007: The auction was ended because of some account issues (the highest bidder - NOT the seller). Relisted as item no. 200171171789.

Either that or the buyer found out that $1200 was kinda foolish!

I have a feeling we'll see these cameras pop up on ebay again, sooner or later, people will get tired of seeing them on the shelf.

I bid $848.00 on the last auction.

Very rare, never used F4 body with DA-20 finder for NASA purposes. This model was made by Nikon for the NASA and was used with NASA designed digital back for use on Space Shuttle missions. On the rear glued-on NASA sticker. The camera comes with the original maker's box with NASA information.

Condition: A
Year: 1994
Serial no. 2269462

EUR 4.000-4.500 (Estimate)
EUR 2.400 (Start price)
EUR 6.500 (Hammer price excl. Premium)

I guess I am the foolish one not buying....

BTW Kiu, did you noticed that of nearly all items (with just a few exceptions) the estimates (schätzwert) by Westlicht were not reached? Westlicht was a bit too optimistic.
