Hi
Can anyone help locate an Elpac m12815 charger for my 420c with 240v
for UK power.
I'm having trouble getting one over here in UK.

Hi Steve,

Again, eBay is the best source for these things. The charger will handle any input from 95V to 250V, so you can safely buy one from the US (where most of the older Kodak stuff is located/sold).

The charger uses a standard, replacable power cable (the same type used for PC's, monitors, and many other chargers), so you'll have no problem finding a cable (i.e. plug) wherever you're located.

There's one listed on eBay (US) right now, costing $27.99 (1 day, 18 hrs left). I'm not sure if I'd buy this particular unit (apparently there's a potential problem with it), but you'll typically find 2 or 3 of these chargers listed. Some sellers may suggest otherwise, but it's pretty easy to find one.

For future reference, here are the details printed on the charger:

ELPAC POWER SYSTEMS
MODEL: MI2815 POWER SUPPLY
INPUT: AC 95 - 250V 47 - 63Hz 0.6A
OUTPUT: 15VDC 1.90A

Hope this helps.

One more thing: People frequently refer to this charger as M12815, but the correct model number is MI2815 -- with an 'i'.

When searching eBay, you should check both variants.

(I've done the same mistake myself. I've edited my previous reply to include the correct model number).
