Help with Vipercard 170 needed

Post by Paul »

I just received a Calluna 520 card, but it doesn't work on my 420; So I am still looking for a card that works.
I have a chance to purchase a Vipercard 170.
Does anyone know if this card will work or not? I don't want to end up being the biggest collector of ATA cards in the US.

Purchased a Viper 140 and a 340, both should have worked on my dcs 420, but alas, I ended up with an and e7 error message. If was just the formate, I should have gotten an e2. Now I think my firmware is corrupt, or maybe my card reader is somehow damaged.
Anyone have any ideas?
I think, first I am going to try to find some one in the Orange Country-Riverside or LA County to update my firmware, if that doesn't work, then I need to find someone with spare parts and swap out the card reader.
Boy this is fun!

Could very well be a camera issue. It shouldn't be *that* difficult to make it work. Maybe it's better to get another camera than to buy more cards..? Good luck!
