Hi, as a HAPPY owner of a DCS 420 S/N 40XX i can gift you some advise... 1. I got my Elpac for a messly 5$ (and bought it w/out knowing model numbers, i got the first Elpac i seen on ebay, yes, sometimes i am lucky) Maybe the price was good because the no reference of DCS on AD scared other possible...

Hi, i tried the card image backup, works fine. :lol: In other part, in all my pics, i got a black goo like circle in the same spot, i assume it as dirt, i cleaned the lens and the goop stays... Today i too (surely was only a momentany error, but i assumed that 'speed' was normal and downloaded anyway)

Also in my first Pics i seen those purplish castings common on the 420 disappeared. Kodak gone smart and integrated an IR filter in the imager? :shock:

Now the camera squezzes out pics so sweet, but the files are HUGE :shock:

At the moment solved by myself. I used the TWAIN Module with the .cal from Kodak (A charm work with those guys GREAT!) With Pshop Elements. I got the two fancy images from my 1st tests. (a dull day)

DCS 460 Plainly stupid error

When i try to import a image to photoshop, i just got a error messaje ('error because error' type) I got the plugin from kodak.com. That plug-in works fine with DCS 420 With DCS 460 i got error from Photoshop 4.0 and elements 2.

They from outside looks like a exclusive size (from inside... ejem.. i don't going to slaughter my working pack.)

I don't know the packs' capacity, but i think you cannot go wrong if you use AA NIMH cells with 2500MAh, then use foam peanuts to make them fit...
