Re: Help Needed with DCS-100

Hi, due to other commitments, I have not thanked you for all the information you have so generously provided, please accept my belated excuses and thanks. I will see what the status quo on my DCS-100 is, and if I am able to find some things out. I hope that faults lie with the DSU rather than the ca...

Help Needed with DCS-100

I bought an incomplete and also nonworking DCS-100 kit, consisting of the F3 body, the digital back, the winder (K370-1582), the DSU (K370-2421) and the cable linking the two. Is any kind and helpful soul willing and able to point me in direction of the missing pieces, especially batteries, charger,...

Leaf Lumina software

I have recently bought a Leaf Lumina scanning camera, unfortunately without any drivers or software. Now I would like to find out a) what do I need, and b) how do I get it. The only thing I managed to find was a reference to a photoshop plug-in for Mac, which might mean OS8.xx or OS9.xx and photosho...

400 Dollars for shipping it to France is not bad either.

Re: Nikon E2?/Fujix DS-505 on ebay

And here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NIKON-FUJIX-E2-DI ... al_Cameras is another one USD 99,99, no bids yet. It looks incomplete, with the shutter button missing, and has no batteries charger or whatever.

Let's see if it sells.

Re: The Shelves of Obsolete Electronics

Hi Stan, do I see a shutter speed metering device in your 'museum'? I would be interested. Thanks & regards, Nico Sorry to barge in on this thread, but as I was the guy looking for the Coolpix 100, I feel some justification. I found this: http://hackaday.com/2010/06/16/simple-shutter-speed-test...

Re: Nikon Coolpix 100, E-100 on eBay

That was me, the guy looking for a Coolpix 100. I got one in the meantime, it didn't arrive yet, so essentially I'd still be interested (I say that here, because the PMs do suffer from cleaning up).

If you find a Coolpix 300 on the SOE, I'd be interested too.

Thanks for the information, unfortunately, UK only.
Sometimes I feel I should reread those old spy novels to set up secret mail drops.

Re: Missing DCS 560

Too bad. If DHL shows it "in processing", they should have it (although I do not understand where they come in, as Royal Mail's partner in Germany would most likely be Deutsche Post). Anyway, it sometimes takes some time for things to get out of the bowels of the courier companies, as for ...

Re: Polaroid is back!

Not for long!! The introduction of LCD displays in cameras killed Polaroid. There no point in beating a dead horse. Kiu That is true only for the pros' polaroid backs on 35mm and medium format cameras. Otherwise there has been no subsitute for the instant print yet. And my teenagers think Pol...

Re: IMAGEK (Digital Film)

At the time, it seemed like a good idea to me. I would have liked a transition to digital on my FE2, and the idea of being able to put one of these things in a Rollei 35 or a Minox 35GT would still be very appealing to me.

Re: DCS prices on the rise

From what I have seen, reasonably complete, working F5 based DCS are selling between 300 and 400 Euro, older models based on other bodies for somewhat less, but in Europe they seem much rarer then in the US. There are almost never any Pronea-based DCS on German ebay.
