Carbon Fiber Replacement Doors for Kodak DCS6xx, 7xx

Is there any interest in Carbon Fiber Replacement Doors for Kodak DCS6xx, 7xx? http://www.dragonmotorcars.com/images/DCS6xxCFdoor.jpg On so many of these cameras, the battery/CF card covers have gone missing, and OEM doors aren't showing up as individual items anywhere that I've looked. http://www.d...

Re: Charger for DCS 600/700-series?

Of course, there's always the cheap 8V DC low output AC Adapter/power supply that can easily be rigged to the +/- terminal slots, which I have found is also extremely useful for "precharging" a completley flat cell that isn't even recognized by the OEM Kodak dual slot chargers. The cheap A...

Re: SD Card in DCS760

Yes, DCS760 captures images on the SD card, though formatting requirement is different than Z7590, so not as convenient a discovery as it could have been.

ISO Controller in DCS6xx

Anybody know where the ISO controller is located in the DCS6xx cameras? For a dead/exploded shutter, it is far easier to replace the whole rear F5 assembly that includes the shutter, but it would appear that all F5 converted bodies are not alike, I now have an ISO range of 80-400, which is same as D...

Re: Shooting with the NC2000e

Several suppliers now offer rebuilt/recelled batteries to breathe life back into these cool cameras. My first NC2000e is still doing good work taking product shots in studio where I've dialed in the exposure and lighting. No need for image preview(just like in the old days of film, just bracket a bi...

Re: SD Card in DCS760

As a further note, High Density SD cards are not recognized by the 760(or 620).

SD Card in DCS760

Contrary to some reports, recent test of 256MB and 2Gig SD card in a PCMCIA adapter was recognized and assigned an image capacity by my DCS760, though same cards in DCS620 and 620X returned "bad card". Having dual card capability will be handy, at least for me, because I also have a smalle...

Extensive images of 760 innards

Stan: If you have not found this link, you might enjoy looking at the inside of a 760 before you tear one apart- http://qman.fotokala.ee/Kaamerad/DCS760/index.html I have found the Kodak DCS 620,660, 760 to eminently agreeable to exploration, even F5 body transplanting(which is much easier than shut...

Old Adobe Photodeluxe

Olds Macs and Adobe Photodeluxe work quite well in acquire mode for DCS200, DCS4xx, and handle the image editing job of 6xx and 7xx through OS9.2. Since the 4xx, 6xx, 7xx can handle CF Cards, it makes image transfer exceedingly easy. I still use NC2000E for ebay auction shots in my "home studio...

Is the on board power supply in 660/760 susceptible to failure? I have 660 which does not power up on battery, but direct 7.2V to the Black and Red connector that goes to the F5 body powers the Body up, still not able to capture images/

DCS 760 and 660 Boards

Anybody have any experience transplanting internal boards between 660 and 760 cams? I have a 660 with ripped umbilical from camera body, but suspect that the torn ribbon may have happened upon disassembly for another malady. Hoping that swapping camera body may put me back in business, as there are ...
