Hi, i don´t got one of those, but i got the ds-300 and because both cameras were made by the same maker at the same age and share internal bit (CCD, and surely all the card interface goodies) i'l assume with assumible risk the next assumption: The cards that work on my ds-300 surely would work on yo...

Many thanks Jarle, i suposed this, but i found a Mac2 too slow to work with those pics. I supossed a Quadra 900, but was launched almost a year after the design of DCS. A small question... ¿You can take pictures winding the camera with the lever instead of using the motor drive? You know how addicti...

to what kind of computer was intended the DCS 100 to conect?

Today i was just wondering this... Kodak cameras were "de facto" intended to connect to an Apple computer. (Drivers and SCSI) I just wondering back in 1991 to what Apple model the DCS was more like to tether? I supose to a B&W Macintosh no... I supose the wanna-be DCS host computer may...

Lost webpage relating the Fuji DS(NikonE) link fixed

Surfing seeking about other fuji model (ds 300) i found what looks like a official info page from fuji, but looks like this page became lost after some server tweakings and still on line l feel like Carter after discovering Tutankamun's tomb! Searching pictures taken with a DCS-100

The title says it all, i want to find one DCS picture the most unprocessed possible. (Slight JPG acceptable) And a question for DCS-100 users, Is possible to use the f3 crank instead of the motor? Because i see a kind of fun out of cranking a Digital cam... Hey, if someone want to see undoctored DCS...

In the 420 you only need to mask the two horizontal bare metal strips, only they are exposed to the 36mm shutter area. If you make a 2 sec exposure w/out lens and look at the CCD you understand at the moment exactly from were came the purple strips (the folded metal framing the ccd peeps from up and...

Well, today i received my precious Sony 5300 Still Video Recorder. Sadly it only works on 120V. The internal PSU is so twisted i discouraged to modify it. I will to use a external 220v to 120v transformer. If required i will oversize the PSU conderser to carry on the higher 50hz wave leap, but the e...

Re: Digital vs. Still Video

Many, if not most, people will consider any filmless camera "digital", even if it isn't. The MVC-5000 is indeed a still video camera, using standard 2-inch "Video Floppy" disks. The Nikon QV-1000C, Canon RC-701 and RC-760 are all still video cameras, similar to your Mavica. They...
