That's impressive! I've used my old Kodak's out on assignment and have gotten similar results.

Re: FINALLY!! I got my E3s up and running.

Hi Stan,

I already have this version of Nikon software. I can see the tiff in the thumbnail preview but when I open it to edit it, the software crashes. I think I need the original software that was used for this camera when it was new. If anyone has a copy I can get, that would be fantastic. 8)

FINALLY!! I got my E3s up and running.

Hi folks, Well, I've been able to figure out a workaround to power up my E3s, which was sitting for the longest time. I've posted photos from it to my Flickr account. I detail there how I was able to do it. Check them out here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/nikonman24/sets/72157645373819901/with/143...

Help, I need a battery!

Hi folks! I just picked up a beautiful Nikon E3s on Ebay last week. It was only $70!! However, there was no battery with it. It is very clean and has minimal wear. If anyone has a battery for sale of knows where I can get a replacement, PLEASE PM me! I've been looking online, but so far have found n...

Re: Old E3s New member

I just picked up a Nikon E3s on Ebay. It looks to be in perfect condition, but it didn't come with a battery. Will you be selling your kit? Let me know. snapabraham@gmail.com

I'm probably the last guy on earth using this camera! LOL!

I've been using the DCS-720x for work along with the D700. I usually keep the telephoto lens on the 720 and the 24-70mm lens on the D700. So far, there isn't much it can't handle. and I got this front page photo today (7-12-12) with it! The photo isn't grainy, it's just the iPhone camera. I'm probab...

Re: Got a good deal on a DCS-720x!

Welcome to the club! Batteries are still out there on Ebay, the question is the chargers, and they are the low end Chinese batteries. I've been able to get my 620X going by using an external Quantum battery (QB2) and you could probably do the same. The hard part is coming up with the right cable fo...

Re: Got a good deal on a DCS-720x!

I just found out how to check the actuation count on the camera. Only 386! Wow! I was able to squeeze out a couple of photos with the Kodak DCS-720x. The batteries I have are bad and won't power the camera up more than a few seconds. I have to return them under the warranty for two new ones. Until t...

Got a good deal on a DCS-720x!

Hi everyone, I just picked up a Kodak DCS-720x on Ebay. I can't post a photo taken with it yet because the Cameron Sino battery packs suck and won't hold a charge long enough to shoot a photo. So far all the controls work and it is VERY clean and new looking. Does anyone have a source for a good bat...

Re: Kodak nc2000e gallery on Flickr

Here's a post I just completed comparing three cameras looking at the same scene.

The article I've posted compares an image from the nc2000e, a Kodak DCS-330, and a Fuji 6800z (point-and-shoot):

Re: Kodak nc2000e gallery on Flickr

Ahh. Very Cool! I was doing it completely wrong, obviously. I was taking the html code of the photo from the blog html edit window.

I shall try it again soon. Thanks very much! I'll skip the cat's severed head step!! lol! :-)

Hi Ashley,

Here's a post I just made going into more detail about the previous topic about "jaggies" and other artifacts in detail areas in photos.

PS I still haven't been able to post a photo. Oh well.

Re: Kodak nc2000e gallery on Flickr

Hi Ashley, That's funny, LOL! Love the Matrix movies too! (How the heck do you attach a photo in the post? All I see in a word: [img], with no way to browse for a photo) If you could assist that would be great! As for the moire in the fine details, I have a plug in that comes with the old AP Viewer ...
